The biggest & the best - well we think so!!
From Anthony Ford:
Despite his usual efforts to fight hard and beat whatever he was up against, I'm devastated to say that Dad (the original Tony Ford, Mr Southern Motocross and many other names that he has no doubt been called over the years!!) passed away this morning. (Thursday 15th June 2017).
Dad's going away party will be on Monday 3rd July. It will kick off at Worthing Crematorium, Horsham Road, Findon, West Sussex BN14 0RG at 12:20. He seems to have been quite popular so we've found a great countryside location (Selden Barn, Selden Lane, Patching, Worthing BN13 3UL - SMX signs will be in place to direct you ) to continue the send-off. Needs to be somewhere big as he had a big life to celebrate!!
Rather than flowers (aside from family ones), if you would like to do something to pay your respect, we would appreciate donations to either British Heart Foundation or Royal British Legion. Will share details on how to donate online in the coming days.
All are welcome at both the service and the after party - dress code can be traditional if that's your preference or alternatively can be determined by your memories of Dad - cowboy hats, MX gear, sandals & socks...
Please let us know if you plan to attend to give us an idea of numbers to cater for. Thank you.
