The biggest & the best - well we think so!!

Good afternoon. 13th September  2020. Covid -19 update.

Just to keep everyone informed:

ORPA have now issued guidelines for training, practice & racing; which are to be followed in conjunction with all Government and Local Authority guidelines.

SMX will ONLY be running practice days to start with and ONLY WHEN WE FEEL WE CAN DO THIS SAFELY & WITHIN ALL ORPA, GOVERNMENT & LOCAL AUTHORITY GUIDELINES.

FAILURE TO MEET ALL CRITERIA CAN RESULT IN US BEING CLOSED DOWN, WITH A HEFTY FINE INCLUDED & WE ARE NOT PREPARED TO TAKE THAT RISK.

Lots of things are going to have to change and be adhered to.....more to follow as and when we are ready to do this.

Please be assured that we will look after all our members and will keep you informed as to how things progress.

ALL ORPA LICENCES & SMX MEMBERSHIPS WILL REMAIN VALID UNTIL THE END OF 2021.

Thank you for your trust, understanding and patience.

Southern Motocross is the Motocross club for everyone, from the humble beginner to former World Champions, from the 16 year old hotshot schoolboy to the 80+ year old veteran.

We run up to 48 race meetings a year,  providing a setup that is attractive to riders of all ages and of all abilities. You can compete in groups based on ability, the age of your bike, the engine size of your bike and even the age of you, yourself.

This web site provides details of all meetings to be held in 2019 (view dates list) along with details re. how to get to the race tracks. It also gives up to date information about the many club championships that are run throughout the season. There will also be race reports of recent meetings held, possibly with action photos.

The intention is that this is a community web site and therefore provides the information that you, the patrons of SMX, want to see. If you have any comments or suggestions re. the site, please feel free to contact us.
